اگر در اینترنت عبارات  flash fiction یا  microfiction  را جستجو کنید به نتایج جالبی می رسید.این نوع نوشتن به داستانهای بسیار کوتاه اشاره می کند، هر چند  درباره حداکثر تعداد لغات این سبک نوشتاری اختلاف نظر هست.
